Substance Abuse Evaluations

Substance abuse evaluations are provided to individuals court ordered to obtain them, those seeking a reinstatement of their drivers license and those who are voluntarily exploring their relationship with the substance of their choice. An evaluation of this type usually consists of a lengthy structured interview and the completion of several standardized questionaires and inventories. The evaluation is used to determine an individual's level of risk, degree of involvement or addiction and the individual's readiness for recovery. A written document is provided to the referral source and to the client. Specific recommendations are made in the the client's best interest for their recovery and the safety of others.
