Stress Management

We all live with stress in a busy pressured world subject to runaway inflation, rising higher education cost, a 50% divorce rate, threats of terrorism and rampant social and political issues. Just when we figure out the rules of the game, the game changes or is over. Life's frustrations cause us to have an internal response of aggression or passivity. When these states are experienced without a specific focal point, this is experienced as stress. We ourselves become the focal point of our own aggression, frustration or passivity in the form of compliance or withdrawl.

With the help of a counselor we can learn to identify specific elements and triggers of our stress, methodically develop a plan to address them and also develop self caring activities designed to reduce the tension produced by stress.
